What is the Women’s Empowerment Group?

Great Hollow Wilderness has had a history of conducting women’s programming and the Women Empowerment Group is continuing that history.  The program is a celebration of women empowerment and female solidarity.  Each member of the group is either a Great Hollow staff member, prospective staff member, or a former Great Hollow student, all members are from various walks of life.  

The group meets at least once a month, during which the group has workshops that encourage increased self esteem, increased self awareness, and increased women empowerment.  The group has discusses, reading parties, physical fitness workshops, and field trips all center around the empowerment of the female members.
