GHWS is seeking motivated & talented individuals with a desire 
to make a positive impact in the lives of young people.

GHWS is a branch of the Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut and for over 30 years has provided outdoor/adventure programming and leadership development for Upward Bound Programs, College Orientations, Middle Schools and High Schools in the tri-state area, and Educational Opportunity Programs serving at-risk youth.

Spend your summer in Western Connecticut teaching backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, and leadership skills to students from CT, MA, and NY.

GHWS will train staff in all areas, including Wilderness First Aid/CPR 
All staff members must attend the Mandatory 2 ½ week long 
Staff Training at the end of May

Salary: $280/wk + room & board
